Returns & Refunds

Inspect before you bid or buy

We strongly encourage all bidders and buyers to attend the advertised inspection time and location before bidding or purchasing. Inspection details are provided on the relevant auction or item listing where available. Please use the inspection opportunity to confirm the item's identity, condition, completeness, dimensions and suitability for your intended use.

Auction purchase

Purchased by Bidding

Auction goods are sold strictly “as-is, where-is”.

Goods may be new, used, damaged, incomplete, untested or suitable for parts only. Before bidding, please carefully review the description and photographs and attend the advertised inspection time and location wherever possible.

Bidders are responsible for satisfying themselves as to the identity, quantity, condition, completeness and suitability of each lot before placing a bid.

Auction purchases cannot be returned because of:

  • A change of mind
  • Failure to inspect the item
  • The item's condition or ordinary wear
  • The item being unsuitable for the buyer's intended use
  • A fault, defect or missing component that was disclosed or reasonably visible

Please contact us promptly if you believe there has been a significant error in the identity or description of an item.

Fixed-price purchase

Purchased through Buy Now

Many Buy Now items are secondhand, clearance or former auction goods from various vendors. Their age, price, stated condition, photographs and any disclosed faults should be considered before purchasing.

Buyers are strongly encouraged to attend the advertised inspection time and location before purchasing, wherever an inspection is available.

We do not accept returns for change of mind or liquor purchased. However, please contact us if an item is materially different from its listing .

This may include:

  • The wrong item or model being supplied
  • A significant advertised feature being absent
  • Significant damage or a fault that was not disclosed, described or reasonably visible in the listing photographs
  • The supplied quantity being materially different from the listing

An item is not considered incorrectly described merely because it has ordinary secondhand wear, a disclosed fault or imperfection, visible damage shown in the photographs, or was advertised as untested, incomplete or suitable for parts.
